Generally, this time of year prompts the traditional pre-school nativity. This annual staple of the Nursery calendar tends to exclude our younger children so this year we would like to do something a wee bit different which can involve the whole of our Nursery Family and hopefully some new friends to The Old Vicarage.
Therefore, on Thursday 14th December, we are holding our first ever Family Christmas Party from 5.30pm – 8.00pm.
We hope you can join us for a few hours to celebrate the magic of Christmas with the children. We will be decorating gingerbread biscuits, making Christmas decorations, writing letters to Santa and other seasonal themed crafts.
As well as our Face Painter, we are expecting a visit from Elsa The Snow Queen who will be reading the children a festive story and singing some Christmas songs. The Snow Queen is looking forward to asking the children what they are putting on their Christmas list as she is good friends with Santa so will be able to pass on how good the children have been this year!
We will be serving a hot pot supper accompanied by cakes, mince pies, mulled wine and delicious hot chocolate to keep the winter cold at bay.
Nursery has also invited potential new parents to this event so they too can see what we are all about. If you know anyone who is currently looking for a nursery place for their child, please feel free to invite them and don’t forget you could be eligible for our Recommend a Friend Scheme if a place is taken (subject to T’s and C’s).
So, dig out your favourite Christmas jumper and join us on the 14th!
