Tes Resources Pancake Day

All of our activities will be running alongside children's individual interests.

Our Nature Kindergarten children continue to enjoy the ever changing weather as we move through the Spring Term.

It's Pancake Day on Tuesday 5th March and the children will be helping to mix up the all important pancake batter whilst the teachers carefully cook our tasty treats.

Preschool and Toddlers will be learning about healthy options to add to their pancakes which can help to keep their bodies strong and our Babies will be taste testing a variety of different delicious pancake toppings........Yum!

Throughout the week and in celebration of World Book Day, the children are invited to come dressed as their favourite storybook character.  The children are also welcome to bring their favourite stories in to Nursery to share with their friends and teachers.  Our interest in stories and their characters will be extended through a variety of activities such as painting our favourite characters.

Week Commencing 11th March

National Wildlife Week connects budding conservationists of all ages to the awesome wonders of wildlife.  Celebrate National Wildlife Week by doing what comes naturally. Whatever you do - at home, nursery or play - do it outdoors and have fun! Climb trees, chase butterflies, dig in the dirt and celebrate nature. You will become healthier, happier and more connected to the world around you.

Friday 15th March is Red Nose Day for Comic Relief.  The children are invited to come dressed in red on the day and we will have a donation box available for anyone who would like to make a donation to this very worthwhile cause.

Throughout the week the children will be getting involved in various activities to celebrate St Patrick's Day so please feel free to dress your child head to toe in green throughout the week.  It’s all about shamrocks and pots of gold, together with hunting for gold chocolate coins at the end of the rainbow.

May your troubles be less and your blessings be more, and nothing but happiness come through your door.
